Juan Antonio Hernández, known professionally as El Patrón Chico, is a contemporary sculptor from Tenerife, born in San Cristóbal de La Laguna in 1969. He primarily works with steel, often combining it with concrete, stainless steel, textiles, and other materials. His sculptures are characterized by abstract geometric forms and explore themes such as human identity, the passage of time, and the essence beneath the surface.
